一莲宣涟，是译廉宣廉的谐音。字面意思为一朵莲花掀起涟漪，意在通过翻译廉洁人物、廉洁故事这件事情，在学校掀起廉政建设宣传教育的新浪潮。

王进喜

1960年，王进喜带领1205钻井队奔赴大庆参加石油会战。面对物资极度匮乏的困境，他坚持"公家的东西一分也不能沾"，连队里配发的劳保手套破了都舍不得换新，而是用粗针大线缝补再用。有次女儿不小心打翻了公家的一盏煤油灯，他立即掏出钱来赔偿，并告诫家人："公家的东西，一丝一毫都不能占。"

作为钻井指挥部副指挥，王进喜始终保持着工人的本色。组织上分配吉普车给他办公用，他却经常用来送工伤工人就医、给井队送急件。有人想通过他走关系谋私利，他坚决回绝："权力是党和人民给的，绝不能用来谋私利！"

王进喜临终前留下的存款仅有300元，却给后人留下了宝贵的精神财富。他用一生践行了"甘愿为党和人民当一辈子老黄牛"的誓言，彰显了共产党人清正廉洁的政治本色。正如他所说："我是个普通工人，没啥特殊，要说特殊，就是比别人多了一份对党的忠诚。"

Wang Jinxi

In 1960, Wang Jinxi led the 1205 drilling team to Daqing to participate in the petroleum campaign. Faced with the plight of extreme scarcity of materials, he insisted that “not a single cent of public property should be taken for personal use”, even the team issued labor gloves are not willing to change the new, but with a coarse needle and thread sewing and then contine using them. Once his daughter accidentally knocked over a public kerosene lamp, he immediately took out money to compensate, and warned his family: "Not even the slightest bit of public property should be taken for personal interest."  

As the deputy commander of the drilling headquarters, Wang Jinxi always maintained the true qualities of a working-class man. Although the organization assigned him a jeep for official use, he often used it to transport injured workers to the hospital or deliver urgent documents to drilling teams. When someone tried to exploit his connections for personal gain, he firmly refused, stating, "Power is given by the Party and the people—it must never be used for private benefit!"  

Before his death, Wang Jinxi left behind only 300 yuan in savings, yet he bequeathed a priceless spiritual legacy to future generations. Throughout his life, he remained true to his vow: "I am willing to be an ox of the people, serving the Party and the masses all my life." His integrity embodied the noble political character of a Communist—clean, honest, and devoted. As he once said, "I am just an ordinary worker, nothing special. If there is anything special about me, it's that I have a little more loyalty to the Party than others."
