一莲宣涟，是译廉宣廉的谐音。字面意思为一朵莲花掀起涟漪，意在通过翻译廉洁人物、廉洁故事这件事情，在学校掀起廉政建设宣传教育的新浪潮。

李仪祉：诚实和自律的典范

李仪祉是我国近代水利事业的先驱，一生秉持廉洁奉公的高尚品德，为后世树立了典范。

在诸多水利工程建设过程中，李仪祉手握项目相关权力，但他从未利用职务之便为自己谋取丝毫私利。面对工程款项的分配、物资采购等关键事务，他始终坚持公正、透明原则，每一笔开支都记录得清清楚楚，严格把控经费使用，确保资金都实实在在地用在了水利工程建设上，让工程能够高质量推进。

他生活极为简朴，虽身负盛名且贡献卓著，却不在意物质享受，将全部精力与心血都倾注到造福百姓的水利事业当中。李仪祉用自己的行动诠释了廉洁自律的深刻内涵，其廉洁风范至今仍熠熠生辉，值得人们永远铭记与学习。

Honesty and Self-discipline

Li Yizhi was a pioneer of China's modern water conservancy cause. Throughout his life, he upheld the noble virtue of honest and dedication to serving the public, setting an exemplary model for later generations.

During the construction of numerous water conservancy projects, Li Yizhi was entrusted with significant authority over them. However, he never took advantage of his position to seek any personal gains. When it came to critical matters such as project funds allocation and material  procurement, he always adhered to the principles of fairness and transparency. Every expenditure was clearly recorded, and he rigorously controlled the use of funds to ensure they were exclusively spent on the construction of water conservancy projects, thus ensuring their high-quality progress.

He lived an extraordinarily simple life. Despite his great fame and outstanding contributions, he remained indifferent to material comforts. Instead, he devoted all his energy and efforts to the water conservancy cause that benefited the people. Li Yizhi's actions embodied the profound meaning of integrity and self-discipline. His clean and upright demeanor continues to shine brightly to this day and is worthy of being remembered and learned from forever.
