一莲宣涟，是译廉宣廉的谐音。字面意思为一朵莲花掀起涟漪，意在通过翻译廉洁人物、廉洁故事这件事情，在学校掀起廉政建设宣传教育的新浪潮。

晏婴三拒齐景公赏赐

晏婴，字仲，春秋时期著名政治家、思想家、外交家，以生活节俭，谦恭下士著称。晏婴在齐国担任辅相期间，以其卓越的才能和高尚的品德赢得了齐景公的信任和尊重。然而，晏婴的生活却异常节俭，不追求奢华享受，这与当时许多贵族的奢侈生活形成了鲜明对比。

有一次，齐景公派使臣去晏婴家议事。使臣到达后，被晏婴家的简朴生活所震惊。他看到晏婴的饮食竟是粗米蔬菜，与贵族的奢华生活截然不同。使臣回去后，将这一情况如实向齐景公报告。

齐景公听后感到十分吃惊，他认为作为一国之相，晏婴的生活过于清贫，这不符合他的身份和地位。于是，齐景公决定派人送去一千两黄金和一千石粮食作为补贴，以改善晏婴的生活条件。

然而，晏婴却坚决拒绝了齐景公的赏赐。他认为，作为辅相，他应该以身作则，过着节俭的生活，为百官树立榜样。如果接受了齐景公的赏赐，就会违背他的原则和信仰。

齐景公并不甘心，他又先后两次派人送去赏赐，但都被晏婴谢绝了。

Yan Ying’s Three Refusals of

Duke Jing of Qi’s Rewards

Yan Ying, also known as Zhong, was a renowned statesman, thinker, and diplomat during the Spring and Autumn period. He was celebrated for his frugal lifestyle and humble demeanor. While serving as the prime minister of the State of Qi, Yan Ying won the trust and respect of Duke Jing of Qi through his exceptional talent and noble character. However, Yan Ying led an extraordinarily simple life, shunning luxury and extravagance, which stood in stark contrast to the opulent lifestyles of many nobles of his time.

On one occasion, Duke Jing of Qi sent an envoy to Yan Ying’s home to discuss official matters. Upon arrival, the envoy was astonished by the simplicity of Yan Ying’s life. He observed that Yan Ying’s meals consisted of coarse rice and vegetables, a far cry from the lavish fare enjoyed by the nobility. After returning, the envoy reported this to Duke Jing in detail.

Duke Jing was deeply surprised upon hearing this. He believed that as the prime minister of the state, Yan Ying’s life was excessively austere and did not align with his status and position. Therefore, Duke Jing decided to send Yan Ying a thousand taels of gold and a thousand dan of grain as a subsidy to improve his living conditions.

However, Yan Ying firmly declined Duke Jing’s reward. He believed that as the prime minister, he should lead by example and live a frugal life, setting a model for other officials. Accepting Duke Jing’s generosity, he thought, would contradict his principles and beliefs.

Unwilling to give up, Duke Jing sent rewards two more times, but Yan Ying declined them all.
